We’re excited to share that Brookline Teen Outreach was featured on KDKA’s Sunday Spotlight!

Reporter Megan Shinn visited BTO to highlight our work supporting Pittsburgh youth and the relationships, opportunities, and sense of belonging that make our community special.

The segment features Keith Edmonds Jr., a BTO student who shares how the space has helped him grow, build connections, and feel comfortable being himself. Keith has been part of BTO for six years, and hearing him describe his experience is a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

For more than a decade, BTO has provided free after-school programming, mentoring, activities, academic support, and counseling to young people ages 10–18. This feature captures what happens when young people have a consistent, welcoming place where they can explore their interests, develop meaningful relationships, and discover their potential.

We’re grateful to Megan Shinn and the KDKA team for helping share our story with the Pittsburgh community!
